Love Conquers All - A Love Story to Share

My friends/classmates Nabi and Roselle proved that love conquers all...no distance can take them apart. Both have been my classmates since early childhood. Their love story started in high school. Theirs is very inspiring, and I have been a witness of that undying love. We all know, long distance relationship is such a huge challenge, Roselle working in Manila then in Cebu while Nabi in Dumaguete, but these couple proved that love knows no boundaries if two people are really destined to be together.

Last March 30, 2012, I really took time off to go back to my hometown to be part of this BIG DAY! I wish them all the best in life....you are my inspiration!

Weekend ME Time!

Hello Sissies!

How's your weekend? With whom did you spend it? Family? Friends? As for me, I must say this weekend has been special...because I got to spend it with myself. :)

I've been so busy for the past weeks...work has preoccupied me, and it's obvious, not being able to post blogs since last month, I guess. It feels good after a long busy week, to have that peaceful moment, relaxing and recharging yourself for another busy week ahead. It was also the time that I had a chance to think about changing something about me.

I've been known to be the plus size woman, who has long STRAIGHT shiny hair! heheh...

I was born with incredibly straight hair. YES! Super straight which gives me a hard time curling it with iron..I spend 30 mins to an hour curling it and after just 10-15 mins it goes back to straight again. Not only that, I remember one time my auntie tried to curl it with medicine...take note, with medicine like what parlors use. Yes it created some curls for a day, after that, back to straight again.

                                    

I heard about Digi Perm...got fascinated with it's technical explanation on how it can create fabulous curls so I decided to try it!

My Erzullie Bazaar Visit

Hi Sissies,

YES!!! The Resorts 2012 is finally out and available in the market. But mind you, you better hurry since I learned that stocks are almost sold out already! That's absolutely positively crazy! We are so overwhelmed by the number of Erzullistas who are now patronizing the beautiful creations of Aries and Berna. Thank you so much girls! This means a lot to us, especially that I am now one of the Erzullie Icons for 2012. Erzullie has been very close to my heart because I believe in their clothing line and the designs are just so beautiful.

Just want to share with you some glimpse of my visit of Erzullie in World Trade Center Supersale today. I came with my daddy, sister, cousin and his girlfriend. We really enjoyed the bazaar, despite the very limited time because my dad had to catch his basketball game. Anyhow, I made sure to drop by Erzullie first and get all my favorite pieces. :)

Of course, first stop to Erzullie! Again, as I always love to do, got busy fitting the different dresses, top, skirts, etc. Erzullie never failed to impress me with their designs. Although I must admit, it's hard when you are there.... because you just end up wanting to buy everything! hahha...

And oh, before we went home, just near the entrance/exit, I saw Diana Zubiri selling her beauty products. She's so friendly and very accommodating. See, after that shot, we had a short (short kasi nga nagmamadali na kami umuwi) chat about her  beauty product pa..:)

Erzullie Resorts 2012 is ON!

This is the time that I have long been waiting for...and still, gives me butterflies in my stomach thinking that at last I will be doing this! :) Just like any other normal person, I remember the same feeling I had when I first went up on stage, about 6 years old, to perform in school. You’ve got these mixed emotions of excitement, gratitude, and of course nervousness. I started with a prayer, and knew the moment I stepped on stage, people will love me afterward!  You could imagine the dose of confidence I took that day! Hahaha
                                       

Erzullie Resorts 2012 is definitely ON!!! And we are scheduled to have our photo shoot on Feb 11, 2012. I’m looking forward for this to be a success! I trust the people behind this brand, Berna and Aries that they will bring out the best in us! This is my first time ( I know my friends will disagree with me saying this because they know me for being photo addict, hehe). But what I mean by “first time” is this is REALLY my first time to venture into fashion modeling, having them take photos of me to promote the brand. And mind you, this is not just about posing for the camera or walking the ramp, but most importantly, this is a HUGE RESPONSIBILITY of carrying the brand and inspiring plus size women and men to love themselves.

I do hope I will be able to deliver that message and inspire more people to feel blessed to have such a wonderful life.

Dumaguete Touchdown!

Hi Sissies,

One of the best things this Holidays is I'm able to go home and spend it with my family and relatives...complete kami. Yes, I am from Dumaguete City, one of the places that got affected by the Storm Sendong. This is by far the strongest storm that hit our place and I'm very sorry to see number of my kababayans who lost their homes.

I arrived home around 12:30 pm. First on the list of things to do was to go to Macias' Sports Complex where all the donations are gathered for our affected fellowmen. My mom packed the clothes and my dad and I delivered it to the venue.

After dropping by the Sports Complex, we headed to my Tito's house to pick up something. Nice to see my niece and tita there....:)

Lunchtime!!! We fetched mom in downtown and had our lunch in Sunburst! I truly recommend their Sizzling Beef! Yum!

After lunch, we went all over downtown. We stopped by Boulevard for some REAL FRESH AIR!

DECEMBER = Party Month! (Part 3)

Hi Sissies!


I really wanted to separate this blog solely for the Erzullie Christmas Party! As I have always mentioned before, being part of the Erzullie did not only realize my dream of becoming a plus size model and being able to positively influence plus size women to love themselves more and be confident with the body they have, but also this was a start of a new FAMILY! I'll always be thankful for having such a dynamic sisters in the industry! haha...naks, parang showbiz lang na statement. :) 


Everyone was so excited....we have planned this for weeks back and the wait was finally over. It was a super fun filled party and we were just so full of energy all day and nigh long! hehehe....
